PACT Act Vape Mail – Shipping Announcement

Due to the upcoming PACT Act and vape mail restrictions (especially regarding: USPS, FedEx, and UPS.) We want to provide some clarity on how this may affect Monster Vape Labs shipments moving forward.

Monster Vape Labs is committed to serving our customers and will continue to operate and serve our loyal customers. Our team is currently working with specialists and building an extensive network of regional and local carriers for shipping deliveries while adhering to compliance with State and Federal laws. As we navigate these changes, we will be pausing all online sales and will be sending regular updates on our progress of finding a solution. What is the PACT Act?

In December 2020, a congressional amendment to the PACT Act was signed into the law as part of the omnibus spending bill. The effect of this new law broadens the definition of tobacco products to include electronic cigarettes, vapes, E-Liquids, and vaping accessories. Starting March 27, 2021 the PACT will require online retailers to collect state and local excise taxes on vaping products and require Adult Signatures on all deliveries nationwide. Other compliance requirements include labeling and packaging, record-keeping, and State and Federal registration and reporting. Furthermore, USPS will be prohibited from accepting packages of vapor products. Unfortunately, FedEx and UPS have voluntarily issued internal policy changes to stop the shipment of vapor products as well.

For your information, these carriers are expected to stop shipping vape products starting the following dates:

• FedEx, March 1
• UPS, April 5
• -U.S. Postal Service (USPS), April 26 or earlier *

*Note: We anticipate the date to be enacted earlier.

What’s Next

Once we find a solution that meets our customers’ needs and are compliant with the PACT act, all packages will require an Adult Signature (21+) upon delivery. Additional Fees at checkout may be incurred due to increased costs in shipping.
